Once a year the members of the Riksdag get the opportunity to submit motions – proposals – on virtually any subject. This is during the general private members' motions period, which took place 10 September – 3 October.
The elections to the European Parliament took place on Sunday 26 May 2019 in Sweden. Now that the polling stations have closed, the municipalities have begun to count the votes from the election. The vote count and the preliminary result of the Swedish elections to the European Parliament are presented by the Election Authority. The European Parliament has information about the election results in the whole of the EU.
